Madame Tussaud's Berlin

by far my favourite wax work! I love E.T
So my Berlin post went live recently and I knew I'd have so many pictures and loads to say about Madame Tussaud's, it needed its own post!

I've always been a fan of Madame Tussaud's, I've only been to the London one and wished I went to the one in Amsterdam but my overall feeling was enjoyment. I love seeing how good (and sometimes bad) the wax works are. Some are so bad it is actually comical and I wonder if the celebrities even signed off on them wax works and others are so life-like it is a little scary!

So Berlin, as you know I went on my own, which means I had to intrust in my selfie stick! Good old selfie stick and I set off and although I had a few looks I didn't really care, I could tell people were jealous they didn't have the idea to have a selfie stick for a better selfie with the wax works. The only downside of the selfie stick is the lighting is awful in Madame Tussaud's, they have bright lights over the wax works which left a few pictures too bright, normally you'd set the focus elsewhere on an iphone but with a selfie stick it's hard because you're now moving the camera and the focus isn't right for when you get back in position.

A few of the celebrities in this Madame Tussaud's were German and therefore I didn't know who they were but there were loads of of my favourite celebrities for me to see. What I loved about this Madame Tussaud's the most in the fact loads of the wax works were interactive, you can dress up and pose with them and I loved the Marilyn Monroe wax work where there was a floor fan and her dress for you to try on and do the famous pose with her.

I also got a wax figure of my hand done which cost €8, you put your hand in 60c of wax, which burns like crazy but I had to brave through it for my wax-work. I was a little upset that it broke during my flight home :'( but I did get a picture before I left Berlin.
Was a peace sign but now looks more like I'm swearing

Overall I had a pretty fun time, just wish there were more wax works or at least more up-to-date wax works.

Have you been to Madame Tussaud's recently?

  1. I love your wax peace sign! Sometimes I think the wax works are so off and look nothing like the celeb but the Rihanna one is awesome!
