OOTD: I'm Limited Edition

I love a good slogan top, I live and breath them, especially if they have something funny and witty on them and today I decided to team up a slogan vest top from Simply Be with my blue Yours jeggings and my Nike AF1 trainers, I'll of course be wearing my new thick coat when I go out.
When I popped into Simply Be a few weeks back I just had to pick this slogan tee up.
I was in a rush as I only popped into Simply Be before heading to a hospital appointment which means I didn't get the chance to try it on. I opted for my normal size but I now wish I had actually gone for a size bigger as it isn't an amazing fit! I had spoke to a few plus size beauties in the past and they've all said the same, Simply Be are really off with their sizes! It's weird because I actually got a size smaller than my regular size in a t-shirt from Simply Be a few months back and it was pretty big on me so for this to be my size and be too small is disheartening.

It may not look it from the pictures but the arms and straps are really awkward and it's also awkward across my bust. The only reason I've not returned it is because I had it too long to return it and I'd lost the receipt. I decided to wear it today and give it a chance and see how it feels, I'm hoping after a good wash and wear it'll stretch a little.

Limited Edition Slogan Vest - Simply Be: £8

What do you think of the vest top? Do you like slogan tees?

  1. The top does look lovely though, just try pulling it out from underneath thats what I do when I end up with a top a little too small. x

  3. I love slogan tees too, I hope you managed to stretch it a bit in the wash because it would b a shame to not get good wear out of it xx

  4. I must admit I'm not a fan of slogan tees on myself but it does suit you! It drives me mad when you cant' trust sizing somewhere. H&M is similar - I would never buy anything in there without trying it on first.

  5. Even though it's the wrong size you still look fabulous. I hate that sizes vary so much from shop to shop. TK Maxx is bonkers in it's baby clothes sizing. I bought a dress there that barely fit my nine month old but said 2-3 years on the label!

  9. I love slogan tees, it's a shame it's not quite the right size for you though. It's terrible that they can be so off with their sizes! Hopefully it'll fit better after a few washes :) Stephanie x

  15. It looks great on you from the photos and you have hid the unconfortable straps well. It's a shame the shops don't have the same sizing it would make our lives so much easier.
