OOTD: ASOS Curve Skinny Jeans with Rips

I wasn't a massive fan of Black Friday this year, it was like no stores wanted to take part, they all had pretty rubbish discounts like 20%, which I can get throughout the year with my student card(s). I didn't want to spend Black Friday empty handed so I decided to visit my favourite online store ASOS the day before and see what they had for me. I couldn't keep my eyes off these jeans. They're a little over my budget for jeans but I closed the page and kept going back and looking at them so I just had to pick them up.

I was so excited when they came, as I said above I ordered them on Thursday and was shocked that they arrived on Friday, I couldn't believe it because I did standard delivery and with such a sale on I was expecting to wait at least a week for them. I actually ordered two sizes, one was my normally size and the other was a size bigger this was due to the fact they are skinny fit and I know some skinnies come up far too tight. I've now sent back the larger size as these are very true to size and were such a great fit. I could still do with a belt but that's because I have massive thighs and my waist is a lot smaller than it should be compared to my thighs.
I'm not really a jeans girl, I've always been into leggings and comfort but the past year I've really got into jeggings which has now transformed to a jean addiction and I am so in love with these jeans! They're so soft, really comfy, they're actually more like jeggings they're so soft.

My only down side to these jeans is the fact they're high rise, I didn't realise when I ordered them and it can be annoying when I've still not got a belt for them. I'm sure I'll get used to it in time but for now they annoy me being so high up.

Another thing that bugged me but this isn't about the jeans it is about ASOS...  ASOS claimed that the jeans were £32 on Black Friday before the 20% discount. If you go on ASOS today they are £30 and I'm pretty sure I'd find a discount code online which would have made them cheaper, so in fact Black Friday was not a deal! I'm fuming with them! I loved ASOS as a brand but they're taken the piss this time. I understand brands like to increase prices to make a sale look better but don't put the price back down a day after the Black Friday deals end. Surely that is going against ASA.

What do you think of my ASOS jeans? Did you buy much this Black Friday?

  1. You look great! I always tend to make a mental note of the brands that sell items true to size - it's so tricky to get right sometimes! Very cheeky of Asos to tamper with prices though, I agree.

  6. You look great as always. That sounds like a rip off. I'd be writing a strong worded e-mail to them about that. I wasn't impressed with black friday this year either. They sucked everyone in and then let them down.

  11. That is so cheeky of Asos. Most of the brands do it and get away with it though.

  18. I think that there were a lot of shops that used Black Friday as a pretence of good deals, I didn't end up getting anything.
