Plus Size Swimwear: Forever21+

1 2 3(3) 4
With the sun shining over London and the thought of my summer holiday to Cyprus in mind I've been searching for the perfect plus size swimsuit. A fashionable swimsuit for a young 21 year old girl that supports and is flattering. I'm not asking for much am I?
Believe it or not looking for a plus size swimsuit is very hard. Some can say I'm fortunate enough to have a large bust but a large bust means the need for a bra, a factor many swimsuits do not have, unless you're willing to spend a lot of money. I'm also young and really into fashion, I don't want a swimsuit I'd wear if I was entering a swimming contest and I don't want a suit my nan would wear. I want what every other girl is wearing just in a bigger size.

I've always loved Forever21+, they are always bang on trend, young and they make clothes that they'd make in their 'normal' range but just in bigger sizes. I was really naughty the other day and done a order of swimsuits which came to over £50 with my student discounts!

I the Tribal Print Fringed One-Piece (1) the most, I tried it on and mum wasn't a fan of the fringe but I love it so much. I finally feel like I've found the perfect swimsuit which is trendy and flattering. I just need to find a strapless bra as this is a halterneck and I can't wear a bra with it. I'd even wear this away from the beach/pool with a pair of denim shorts at a festival/party.

Do you know a store/website that sells trendy plus size swimsuits?

  1. I love the last two, they are lovely. I have a big bust but tend to choose swimwear with built in bras - swimwear 365 is really good.

  12. I must admit I don't really like any of them :-( sorry. I have recently bought mine from ebay from a shop in China. They look like a sun dress, padded, underwired, and built in short. Looks so stylish, shapes, and hides the bumps.

  15. If the swimsuit is padded, you do not have to wear bra. Personally, I like the black one. I just hope I can pull it off though. -katrina centeno

  17. It's great that a lot of High-street brands are making swimwear in plus sizes. Seems like a welcomed change in the fashion industry. After all, fashion is for everyone. In India we have quite a few brands that have plus sizes can't recall though!
