I've got bad skin!!

I hardly ever wear make-up, I just can't be bothered with all the messing about before I head out the door, my skin has always been pretty good too. I hardly ever have flaws on my face even when it is that time of the month. I can normally tell when there is something wrong with me when I have spots. It normally means I am a little ill or I've eaten something bad. I've only recently started wearing foundation as I've been doing a few reviews and boy have I seen a difference in my skin! I recently wrote a post moaning about Maybelline as I had really bad skin after using their product but I now feel like it was my own fault. My skin isn't use to make-up and I did the biggest beauty sin ever... I used a make-up wipe to take off the foundation!

If you don't already know make-up wipes are terrible for your face, they only take off surface make-up and can leave blockages in your pours, not only that they can be harsh on the skin. I often find myself in pain as I use make-up wipes, It stings around my eyes and on my cheeks. I've decided I am going to go back to my old beauty routine I learnt in beauty school. Cleanse x 2, tone & moisturise twice daily and exfoliate about once a week or every two weeks. I was using 'Champneys Spa Skin Conditioning Cleansing Milk For Normal To Dry Skin', Champneys Spa Skin Gentle Conditioning Toner For Normal To Dry Skin and Champneys Spa Skin Moisturising Day Cream For Normal To Dry Skin they smell beautiful and my face always felt new and refreshed. I felt like I had just had a facial. I even used the product on my clients when doing facials and they loved the smell and said it relaxed them even more. I did get them from Sainsbury's but I believe they no longer stock Champneys spa products. The products I have linked are a different bottle to what I have but I believe they are the same. I would highly recommend Champneys spa products to anyone. They are not the cheapest but they are one of the best.

One more tip is to splash cold water over your face after you wash and before you apply your make-up,  this will close the pours preventing the make-up for sneakily getting in.

I now have a new years resolution, to make sure I cleanse, tone and moisturise daily so I get my healthy-looking, beautiful skin back.

What products do you use to take off make-up?
