Plus Size Festival Clothing

Unfortunately I am not going to any festivals this summer (other than working at them) but I wish I were and being plus size at a festival does make you feel a bit of an outcast sometimes. Ripped, bum cheek showing hot pants/ denim shorts and a cropped slogan top isn't something us plus size girls can show off so I've decided to do a post on some awesome outfits you can wear to all this summer's hottest festivals and still look super sexy, and super festival ready.

Festival Essentials
For any girl there are many festival essentials, lets forget about the obvious items like toothbrushes, toothpaste and dry shampoo and think about the clothing essentials. I think everyone needs a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, I love Ray Ban Wayfarer glasses, the groovier the better for a festival. Along with a pair of Ray Ban glasses you need a pair of wellies (hunter's are the best) or Dr Martens You also need a bandeau bra. I love a cute bandeau bra and I feel you always need one these days as 9/10 tank tops show far too much bra.(You can put the bandeau bra over your normal bra)

Top Tips

• Be comfy! There is nothing worse than being in pain while trying to enjoy yourself
• Think of the weather, if it is going to be raining and muddy don't wear open toed shoes and no coat, likewise you don't want to be sweating if it's super sunny and you're in boots.
• Fancy dress is always a good idea. From body paint to a full blown outfit or a cool onesie. Ebay have amazing stuff and Primark
• Don't take anything you can't replace or you'd have trouble replacing, some people will love the fact you're drinking and try steal from you.
• Mud surfing sounds fun, and you can get Facebook famous from it but you're going to be muddy for days. Remember you can't shower!
• Buy an iPhone charger case or a portable charger. There is nothing worse than not having any life in our phone if someone gets lost. Ebay have loads.
• If you do have a onesie ladies, remember you need to try and go bathroom in the dark in a tiny portable toilet. Good luck with that one!
