Barry M Matte Nail Paint Mocha review

Barry M Matte Nail Paint - Mocha*
Classic Matte Nail Paint is available in a coffee shop collection of warm, wintery colours to compliment this season’s grunge trend.

As you should know by now I am a massive fan of Barry M, from their eye shadows to their nail varnishes, I am yet to have a product from them that I do not adore and this is no exception.

Barry M's coffee shop collection comes in 5 shades (Mocha, Black Espresso, Burgundy Crush, Brown Caramel & Nude Vanilla) and I am very excited to have, what I believe, is the best colour out of the shades. Mocha.

Mocha is a chocolate latte colour and each coat adds a darker more opaque colour. One coat is too close to my skin colour so it was definitely a two coat job. The application is very easy like most other Barry M varnishes it also dries super quick like other Matte polishes which I love.. No need for sitting around waiting for them to dry and smudging them while you do the other hand. Although it is called 'matte' it is more of a wax finish.

I found this varnish lasts about three days, I applied it on 11th and three of my nails have 'chipped' and four more look like they need a bit of a touch up, I've not really done much with my hands this week but this is pretty good for a matte finish, I find they can peel pretty easily, especially in the bath.
I love the matte finish but adding a top coat totally takes that effect away.

* Matte finish
* Lasts three days
* Two coats needed
* Top coat changes the look
* Quick drying
* Good coverage
* Cheap

* I got this item free in a goodiebag from AX PARIS, I did not buy this item myself.

  3. Love the shade! Please check out my blog!

  4. Love those colours!

  5. I am really liking that shade, very festive. I love the effect of Matte polish but as you say the top coats we can usually get take the effect away. I do have a matte top coat though, that seems okay and makes it last a little longer.
