Alton Towers

Over the bank holiday my family and I went to Alton Towers, we stayed in Splash Landings Hotel where there was an amazing water park onsite. I had never been to Alton Towers before as it is about a 3 1/2 hour drive from London meaning you'd have to leave super early.
We went to the water park as well as the main theme park during our stay, we made sure we went to the new CBeebies Land that only opened the day before we got there, this was due to my little brother. I went on a few rides as a single rider so I beat the long 80 minute queue times. *Smiles* Funny enough the children rides in Cbeebies Land were longer than The Smiler and other big rides which was a bonus for me! I got a few bruises but overall had an amazing time in the park.

    We are going in few weeks time. Good job we have a priority tickets for the rides... 80 min waiting time would be not for me

    Alton Towers look like a lot of fun for the family.. we're going to a water theme park next week for the holidays.. I hope the kids enjoy it too.

    I think I'm the only person I know thats never been to Alton towers. Thankfully I'm definitely not into adventurous rides as I've heard Alton Towers in very expensive. I think some people are just so brave but I think I'll stick to my feet being firmly on the ground.
