1. Tell us a little about yourself, what do you enjoy about life?
The little moments I have with my son. Motherhood has definitely changed everything for me. Of course, it's not all fun and games but I've definitely felt happier being a Mom.
2. Why did you choose your blog name?
My blog was actually called something else - and let's just say it sucked - hence I decided to change it. Trying to pick the perfect name that actually feels right the second time around was a challenge but things turned out good when I saw a jar of jelly beans on my table. And the rest you could say is history.
3. How long have you been blogging and why did you start?
It's been 3 years I believe and it was because I wanted to do something with my spare time and also share some of the products I have been using for my little guy. And there it evolved into a more beauty-focused site.
4. What is your blog niche or what topics do you cover and why?
As mentioned above, it's beauty-focused which ranges from skincare, makeup, accessories and sometimes unboxing. These are the things I'm able to relate to and come face to face pretty much everyday so why not blog about, right?
5. What do you find most challenging about blogging about your topic?
The only challenging part really when it comes to blogging about anything is finding the time to do it all. My little bean is growing up and a bit demanding so my spare time has been cut down dramatically. With busier schedule, I also bump into writer's block every now and then, which makes matters worst.
6. What would your advice be to newbie bloggers?
I have encountered this question many times and even once asked others this before and the only thing I can say is that - blog because it makes you happy. When you start feeling the strain, step back and look at the big picture. Evaluate your priorities and work on that. Don't be afraid to be different. This is what will make you stand out from the bloggers crowd. Content might be king but you need people to actually read it so make time to form connections and do it genuinely.
7. What do you love most about where you live?
We live in the suburbs so I like that a lot. I'm not a big city girl you see. I'm surrounded by nature and I get good lighting, perfect for taking blog-related pictures. The people here are nice, too and we're not far from the shops so I find that very convenient because I don't drive.

9. How do you keep coming up with content for your blog?
As of right now, I have a schedule on products that need to be up on the blog. That's what inspire me to write.
10. What is your favourite and least favourite post that you've done and why?
Favorite: How to find your way back into blogging (I still read this myself when I'm feeling stuck myself)
Least favorite: Face mask disaster (because I wished I didn't have to go through this experience. It was bad!)
11. Have you got anything to say to new potential readers?
If there's one thing you'll find on my blog it's that I don't like to sugarcoat things and fully appreciate constructive criticism as well. Granted, everyone has their own topic preference so it's understandable if you don't drop by all the time. However, if you're crazy about skincare that works and makeup that actually looks good, take a moment to check out my blog. I do my utmost best to share more about the products through my photos, too!
