What To Wear To Your Graduation

My graduation may be in 15 months but I'm already starting to think about my graduation dress. I recently found out I am well on my way to a upper 2nd class honors (2:1) as long as I keep my grades up in my final year starting October. I'm so fussy when it comes to things like this that I know it will take me forever to find my perfect dress that I look and feel beautiful in. I know I'd of lost some weight by then but a girl can still dream and look.

Unfortunately as you can see my universities academic dress is navy and orangey/red depending on your degree, which would not only clash with my hair but many colours I love wearing. *cries* I've never really been a fan of orange so I'm already against my academic dress.

Finding a plus-size graduation dress was actually pretty hard, a lot harder than you'd think but the dresses above are by far my favourite. I'm not really sure what I am looking for but #2 & #3 I'd be very proud to stand up in front of everyone and wear. I love them so much.
I thought I'd share a list of retailers who do beautiful prom and graduation style dresses in sizes 16+

  6. I wouldn't worry too much about you dress clashing with your robes as you really don't see a lot of it under there, at least thats what I found from my graduation!
