Wireless Festival 2015: Sunday Editions

This has to be a pretty quick post as I'm getting ready to go away on holiday tomorrow, well I leave at 1am.

Yesterday I went to Wireless Festival with some of the girls from work. I've not been to a festival as a festival goer before so I was super excited to get there and find the perfect festival style outfit. I decided to rock my coral skater dress teamed with frilly socks and air max trainers and of course a kimono and a flower headband.

We arrived to hear Charlie XCX on stage and as none of us were a fan we headed straight to the toilets to freshen up before coming back to listen to August Alsina on the main stage. I'm not a massive fan but a few of the girls loved him and he was actually pretty amazing. After August we headed to Ciara to be disappointed that she was in the Pepsi Max tent and no one could see her as she had such a big crowd, people were overheating and leaving before she even started her set. I ended up walking away and going to see Clean Bandit, we all got a few drinks and headed back to the main stage to see Jessie J.

We got somewhat near the front for Jessie J but she was over 30 minutes late and my feet started to hurt so I got a little moody. When she FINALLY came on stage everyone booed her as she kept up waiting but as soon as she sung they soon turned to cheers as she was bloody amazing! I had seen her live before when I worked in Hyde Park and she really wasn't that good but she was amazing at Wireless. As Jessie finished her set a special notice came up that Nicki Minaj was running late and they lost contact with her on her way from Luton airport on the M1. She turned up 1 1/2 hours late after David Guetta had to come on stage before her and she only did a 30 minute set before the 10pm curfew. If you live on Instagram like I do you'd of seen the uproar about it. So many people want a refund and as they paid out just to see Nicki Minaj and they hardly got to see her. Although she was bloody amazing while she was there. It's a shame Drake wasn't with her.

Overall Wireless is a waste of money and it didn't go to plan, everything was far too spaced out with quite music in between and not much else to do. I wouldn't waste my money on going to a festival again.

  1. It's such a shame that it didn't go to plan, especially if it's your first time going as a festival goer. Jesse is an amazing singer but I have heard a lot of bad things about her lately...her attitude just isn't that great anymore which is such a shame. Hopefully you'll have a better time next time! :) x

  14. I've never been to a festival before as it just doesn't really appeal to me haha although I totally understand why others would want to though. It's such a shame that the artists were late and no chance to see them as expected. I would probably want my money back as well. Love the floral accessory you have on!
