Today I am excited to bring you my new favourite labret studs* from The Body Jewellery Shop. The body jewellery shop have a wide variety of body jewellery and cater for every earpiercing you can think of. I currently have my lobe pierced twice as well as my tragus and I'd love to get a Daith piercing in the near future as well as my forward helix which I believe is also called the anti-helix. I've always been into piercings and I currently have 7 piercings after taking my belly bar out a few years back and 5 of which are on my ears. I'd love to have so many more but as my mum isn't a massive fan I have to respect her wishes.
6 different colours. Silver on bar, green, dark blue, light blue, red, and two pinks |
My first item I'd like to show you is the Micro Labret Stud & Jewel Balls Bonus Pack * which costs £6.49. The micro labret stud is surgical steel and you get 7 beautiful little balls so you can have a different colour for each day if you like, the best part is, you can change the balls without taking the bar out and it's so easily done. I also love the fact that this stud is surgical steel, although I got my tragus pierced back in 2010 it still isn't completely healed, every now and then it will act up and bleed and if I took it out now within a few hours I'd struggle to put a new bar back in.
Red ball |
Blue star on the bioflex stud |
My second item is the Silver & Bioflex Labret Stud (Mix Star Jewels) * which also costs £6.49. On their website the body jewellery shop actually class this as a nose stud, but at 1.2mm x 8mm this is far too big for my nose, actually my current nose stud is smaller and thinner than the star jewels that you put in the bioflex bar so I'll be using it in my tragus instead. I've never actually tried this type of bar before though, I always have a screw on but this is actually really good. It took me a while to put it on correctly but it feels so secure, I always lose balls as I don't tie screw them tight enough but this takes that away.
Blue star in my ear |
Have you bought anything from The Body Jewellery Shop before? What do you think of my two labret studs? Do you buy your body piercing jewellery online?
*these items were gifted to me for the purpose of a review, in collaboration with EtailPR.
Hmm not much a a piercing kind of girl, but these do look very nice.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great place to have a piercing especially for small studs, they look really pretty. Don't think I'd be brave enough to have this part pierced though as it's quite thick!
ReplyDeleteOooh I really like the mix star jewels! It looks so pretty in your tragus. I've had the same jewellery in mine as what it was pierced with like 9 years ago. Gosh I feel old now haha
ReplyDeleteI've also just done some work with Body Jewellery Shop and I was so happy with the samples they sent me! I got two ear cuffs and a fake plug for my lobe (I've only stretched one side) I love the quality of the goods and they have such a large range!

I've never bought jewellery from this shop before. It seems to have some nice products though.
ReplyDeleteThey look fantastic - love the blue one, I've pondered having my labret pierced before. x
ReplyDeleteThese are really pretty! I have only my ears and belly pierced but dont wear anything in them
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty! I have nothing pierced.....I had my ears pierced years ago but I lost interest quickly :)
ReplyDeleteI think that your piercings really suit you. I used to have my tongue pierce, but had to remove it as it hadn't quite healed when I found out I need chemotherapy, and having to keep removing it for surgery was causing an infection risk. Sorry, over share. But I do miss it.x
ReplyDeleteI have never bought jewellery from there but will keep an eye out for these, such lovely colours x
ReplyDeleteThese studs looks ace! I need to replace all mine now. Ill check that shop, thanks!
ReplyDeleteThese look like great products. I would love the top of my ear pierced but have never got round to it. Love the studs - the colour is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThese look great, and I like the sound of the bioflex. I have issues with my tragus (it's the only piercing I have left) in my early 20's I had about 24 at one point, including my tongue pierced twice with was my favourite =)
ReplyDeleteI have my ears pierced once and never remember to wear earrings x
ReplyDeleteThey are very pretty - the blue one is my favourite :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks sooo pretty!!! I didn't know you could even have that pierced lol
ReplyDeleteI love these, I like the fact that you can change them without taking the ball out, that's so useful. I have an industrial piercing on my ear so I'm looking for something new to replace the standard bar with. I'll have to check out TBJS X X
ReplyDeleteThese are super cute! I have my ears stretched so I'll have a browse of their shop now to see if they have anything. :)
