Labret Studs With The Body Jewellery Shop

Today I am excited to bring you my new favourite labret studs* from The Body Jewellery Shop. The body jewellery shop have a wide variety of body jewellery and cater for every earpiercing you can think of. I currently have my lobe pierced twice as well as my tragus and I'd love to get a Daith piercing in the near future as well as my forward helix which I believe is also called the anti-helix. I've always been into piercings and I currently have 7 piercings after taking my belly bar out a few years back and 5 of which are on my ears. I'd love to have so many more but as my mum isn't a massive fan I have to respect her wishes.

6 different colours. Silver on bar, green, dark blue, light blue, red, and two pinks

My first item I'd like to show you is the Micro Labret Stud & Jewel Balls Bonus Pack * which costs £6.49. The micro labret stud is surgical steel and you get 7 beautiful little balls so you can have a different colour for each day if you like, the best part is, you can change the balls without taking the bar out and it's so easily done. I also love the fact that this stud is surgical steel, although I got my tragus pierced back in 2010 it still isn't completely healed, every now and then it will act up and bleed and if I took it out now within a few hours I'd struggle to put a new bar back in.

Red ball
Blue star on the bioflex stud

My second item is the Silver & Bioflex Labret Stud (Mix Star Jewels) * which also costs £6.49. On their website the body jewellery shop actually class this as a nose stud, but at 1.2mm x 8mm this is far too big for my nose, actually my current nose stud is smaller and thinner than the star jewels that you put in the bioflex bar so I'll be using it in my tragus instead. I've never actually tried this type of bar before though, I always have a screw on but this is actually really good. It took me a while to put it on correctly but it feels so secure, I always lose balls as I don't tie screw them tight enough but this takes that away.
Blue star in my ear
After my surgery in February I've had a bio flex in my ear. I had to put it in for the surgery but I've not taken it out as I've found my ear hasn't bled nor has it got swollen since I've put it in and as I said before this happens all the time with my tragus. I've read online how the bioflex is great to aid the healing process as it bends and flexes with the piercing as you move which in turn relieves the stress on the new peircing.

Have you bought anything from The Body Jewellery Shop before? What do you think of my two labret studs? Do you buy your body piercing jewellery online?

*these items were gifted to me for the purpose of a review, in collaboration with EtailPR.

  2. I think this is a great place to have a piercing especially for small studs, they look really pretty. Don't think I'd be brave enough to have this part pierced though as it's quite thick!

  3. Oooh I really like the mix star jewels! It looks so pretty in your tragus. I've had the same jewellery in mine as what it was pierced with like 9 years ago. Gosh I feel old now haha

  11. I think that your piercings really suit you. I used to have my tongue pierce, but had to remove it as it hadn't quite healed when I found out I need chemotherapy, and having to keep removing it for surgery was causing an infection risk. Sorry, over share. But I do miss it.x

  15. These look great, and I like the sound of the bioflex. I have issues with my tragus (it's the only piercing I have left) in my early 20's I had about 24 at one point, including my tongue pierced twice with was my favourite =)

  19. I love these, I like the fact that you can change them without taking the ball out, that's so useful. I have an industrial piercing on my ear so I'm looking for something new to replace the standard bar with. I'll have to check out TBJS X X
