Southend-on-Sea

With the beautiful weather here in London we decided to get up early and go to the beach in Essex. 

Got to Fenchurch Street Station around 9:45 and got the train straight to Southend Central. It took little under an hour but it honestly felt that long. Got down towards the beach about 11am and we went into the Adventure Island where Phyll's nephew went on a few rides before we headed towards the beach. 

After the beach we walked to KFC and I popped into Yours Clothing (one of the many reasons I love Essex) I picked up a white pair of leggings and the staff were very helpful. I'd have to say the best Yours' store I have ever been in and I've been to every store in Essex/near London. After eating we headed to the arcades. I won some money and spent a little more. I decided to behave and only spent £5 in there. We then headed back to the adventure island and then back to the beach where unfortunately the tide had gone out. 

I got home about 19:45 and I had a really amazing day, it is always nice to get out of London for a few hours and have some fun in the sun.
