Marrakech days 6 & 7 ✈️

I am back in the UK now and it feels so good. I had a really lovely week in Marrakech but I really needed my home comforts like my own bed, my own bathroom and mainly HOT home made food with loads of fruit and veg.

Monday was a pretty long day, mum & I went shopping in the morning before going back to the hotel to chill by the pool in the sun, it was nice just being the two of us. We had loads of giggles and it was the first fully relaxing day. After a few hours at the pool I sat on my laptop in the lobby looking for a new dress because I got an invite to the AXParty from E-tailPR blogger network. I didn't find a dress but I'll wear the one I got from ASOS for my birthday. After internet surfing I got washed, dressed and 'dolled up' for dinner and a trip to Jemaa El-Fna. It was our last full day in Marrakech so we were making the most of it.

We had so much banter that night with the locals, it's funny. I had so many asking my marry me and asking my mum if they could swap camels for me haha I kept getting called a 'BerBer' which is  a ethnic group in North Africa, meaning I was getting mistaken for a Moroccan and I was also called 'Fatimah' who is was a daughter of prophet Muhammad and Khadijah, wife of Ali and mother of Hasan and Hussein, and one of the five members of Ahl al-Bayt.
I got henna done but I got scammed, it never came out!
Yesterday was our last day in Marrakech, we went for a a nice meal (lunch) before our transfer came at 17:00 for our 20:05 flight back to London Gatwick. It could have easily been the best meal I had all week and it was so simple. Chicken, chips and fruit. What more could a girl want from life? haha
