I love my bridge camera but I knew it was time to invest and get a real DSLR. I picked it up from my university as I got free money (bursary) for completing semester A and it would cover the price of the DSLR. So it was a 'well done for passing your semester' present to myself. Because it was from my university it was therefore overpriced but it really didn't bother me as I classed it as free. There isn't anything else in my university shop that I'd buy.

my Lumix DMC-FZ28 v my new Nikon D3200 Digital SLR |
I picked up the Nikon D3200 Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm VR Lens Kit - Black which is currently on Amazon for £389. I wish I paid that for it! I wasn't too sure about it after my first use as I am so in love with my bridge camera and it is just as amazing as 90% of the cheaper digital SLR cameras. I took it to university yesterday and messed around with it a little, taking random pictures of my friends and later taking pictures at the airport. I loved the quality, with an amazing 24mp I was sold. I now can't wait to get use to it, read up about it and hopefully take a class in how to use it correctly and get the best out of it. I asked a few of the blogging girls ( and guy) with some advice and they all said to get a 50mm for blogging, it is little under £100 so I am looking forward to investing in it. Hopefully you'll notice the difference in picture quality on my blog and see my passion for photography.
