Bucket list: 4 - Get a car

 I'm one excited little girl right now, remember when you were younger and on Christmas you'd get butterflies with all the excitement, not want to sleep and want to stay up all night to play with all the amazing things Santa gave you? I'm like that right now! Part of my bucket list was to get a car before my 22nd birthday... I'VE GOT ONE!




Today I got my very first car and I'm besotted by it. I've been wanting a car since the age of 17 and I've finally got one! I've got a beautiful Honda Jazz 1.4 2005 and her name is Layla! I've been driving around today, I went to see family and show off the new car as well driving to work to pick up a parcel and do some heavy shopping knowing I didn't have to get a cab or jump the bus with it. 

I'm a little nervous driving and I'm sure it shows, I'm more nervous now than what I was when I was a learner! I know confidence comes with learning more and time but until I get confident I've decided I'm sticking to all the roads I know and only taking random routes if I really need too!

    Congrats on getting a car, I would love to learn to drive but I feel like I would be an awful driver!

    Congratulations on your first car! I would recommend not going to Halfords/ car shop and buying every accessory going, you will never use them all and find them wedged in the boot about 5 years later all dried up! That and cheap car air fresheners - the scent lasts about 5 minutes if you are lucky! Its been nearly 14 years since I passed my test but I have been recently teaching a friend to drive - forgot how nervous you get at the beginning! Just relax, never panic and most of all drive safely x

    How I remember my first car it was lovely shiny bright red. What a fab car you have got too, the two items you will need come Winter is De-Icer and a scrapper.
