My bucket list has been a major focus on my blog the past 6+ months as it's something I'm really passionate about. If you're yet to see anything to do with my bucket list, I have a list of 30 Things Before I Am 30 and 21 of which I wanted to do before I turned 22. I turned 22 on the 27th September and I only completed 8 of my 21 things. I'd say the 8 that I completed were the most important to me but I'm a little disappointed in myself for not getting more done. Some were actually harder to do than I expected. I've been working nearly everyday, I had two holidays and now I'm back at university so I really haven't had the time to do some of them.
I decided to give myself a little extra time and now I want to complete them before 1st January 2016.
1. Lose weight (35kg)
3. Bury the hatchet with someone
5. Do something 'out of character'
6. Meet another famous person (not a Z-lister)
7. Go on a road trip (UK)
8. Conquer one of my fear (spiders, bees/wasps, insects, bacteria)
10. Be a tourist in my own city (London)
11. Travel to at least 3 European countries in a year
12. Go to ICE bar/hotel (UK or Sweden)
14. Travel to at least two Scandinavian/Nordic countries
15. Make a difference to someone's life
20. Have one day with no mobile/laptop, kick it old school
21. Read 4 books in a month
I'm not sure I'll be able to complete them all by January, some will be hard to fit in around university and work but I'm going to try my hardest to go on a road trip up North sometime in November and in December I'm going to try and have a cheeky two/three day trip, whatever has the cheapest flights and hotel, I'm pretty easy when I travel alone as I want to see the world, there isn't a country I'd say no to. I've been lucky enough to visit Cyprus and Iceland so I've only got one more European country to visit. I want to visit London Zoo soon so I'll be being a tourist in my own city soon too and I'm very far off from my weight lose goal but I'll be happier conquering a fear and doing something out of character.
Have you had a bucket list this year? Have you marked off anything on your bucket list?
Aw good luck on ticking all of these off :) My bucket list is going pretty well so far as well, eeee x
ReplyDeleteGood luck ticking these off doll. You can do it! I've pretty much made it through mine, and London Zoo is amazing! Haven't been myself for years! - Zara Lipstixx xx

ReplyDeleteGreat list! Good luck ticking them off :) Have fun!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck with this! I need to make a bucket list. Maybe I will do it for the New Year.
ReplyDeleteNo bucket list for me but its nice that you have a list of things that you want to do. It's good to have goals.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a list. Good luck with ticking them off - that's the best bit about a list isn't it? :)
ReplyDeleteBury the hatchet first.... Life is too short.
ReplyDeleteGo onto livingsocial or groupon and get discount tickets to Paris, Barcelona and Venice.
Do the London Bus Tour... It's fab, afterwards go to the ice bar.
ROADTRIP to Norwich or Colchester.
Buy a book that is a series, makes it easier to read quickly.
Good luck
I'll check out Livingsocial now, thanks for the ideas. x
DeleteBook those flight tickets for a weekend- get ticking it all off. I love a bucket list! I get so excited when it starts nearing the end :) xx
ReplyDeleteI want to lose some weight too, but it is so difficult to start :(
ReplyDeleteGood luck I am sure you can do it - you have been doing some amazing things of late :) x
ReplyDeleteThis is a fab idea, I definitely need to write some goals down to complete before the end of the year. Losing weight being one of those. I hope you get chance to go to London Zoo, if so get lots of pictures and share them! I've not been before but heard amazing things. We'll hopefully take a visit next year when our little boy is a bit older to understand what's going on.

I'm still procrastinating about creating a bucket list but they seem like such a fun idea I really ought to do one.
ReplyDeleteYou should, I love having the goals
DeleteGood luck with your bucket list. I recently completed number 20 and I can't tell you how amazing it felt. I got my first mobile in 1997 and it cost me a fortune, in fact I spent my whole weeks wages on it so I've never been without a phone in 18 years. To go a whole day without checking the internet, sending texts and taking calls was so good and I didn't miss it.
ReplyDeleteWell done, it's hard. I can go a few hours but someone will call or text and I run back to it 😂
DeleteGood luck with your list - I'd love to visit the Ice hotel!
ReplyDeleteGreat bucket list you've put together. I'm sure you can do most of them before Jan, good luck! :)
ReplyDeleteWishing you lots of luck, Ice bar is well worthy of a visit x
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the rest of your bucket list and a road trip sounds like a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteGreat list, good luck with everything! I love making buckets lists I have got a list of things I am hoping to do before I am 30 (which is next month) I should recheck how I am doing!
ReplyDeleteGreat list - you might not have enough time before January though! Good luck :) Kaz x
ReplyDeleteI'll be trying, hopefully I do x
DeleteWow, these are some exciting things on your bucket list! However, do you really want to lose 35kg by January 1? That's a huge amount for such a short while.
ReplyDeleteDoh! I'll edit the post now, the 35kg was my goal from the start of the year until my birthday (about 7 months) I've lost a bit but not hit the goal of 35kg, I still have about 20ish to go.
DeleteGood luck. I hope all goes according to plan and you will have an option to do it all.
ReplyDeleteGreat list and best of luck ticking them all off
